Second Saturday Community Event: The Beauty & Magic of Indigo with Julia March Crocetto

Second Saturday Community Event: The Beauty & Magic of Indigo with Julia March Crocetto

Join us for an introduction to the possibilities of this ancient blue dye. We'll touch on the history and growing habits of this plant, then learn techniques for creating distinctive patterns on cloth. After manipulating fabric, we will dunk it in the dye. Within minutes the dye will transform and your design will be revealed!

Participants will take home a sampler and a small makeup/pencil/sunglass/medicine bag.

Materials are limited and first come, first served.

This event will take place at the Plateau Valley Fire Station in Collbran at 2004 Elm Street.
