Fruita for Equality - What is Implicit Bias? Online

NOTE: This event will be held virtually via Zoom. You must register below to receive the Zoom link.

Fruita-area residents are invited to join an online event exploring the topic of implicit bias as it relates to perceptions about race. “What Is Implicit Bias?” is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., Saturday, November 14, on the online meeting platform Zoom.

Discussion will be centered around an exploration of personal implicit biases. Ahead of the event, participants are asked to take the Harvard Implicit Bias test to identify their own implicit biases. The implicit bias tests are available in multiple languages, and a Spanish-language interpreter will be available in the virtual event.

This event is hosted by Fruita for Equality, a collaboration among Mesa County Libraries, Lithic Bookstore, Fruita Rotary, and others to promote and support equality, inclusivity, and diversity through meaningful conversations and action in the community.
