Grant Seeking and Stewardship Workshop In-Person

Mesa County Libraries are hosting a grant-writing workshop that will highlight tools and skills that enable organizations to find, write, and steward grants.

The workshop is presented in three parts:

Utilizing Library Resources to Find the Right Grant
Mesa County Librarian Ike Rakiecki will demonstrate how to use Foundation Directory Online, an online resource used to research grants, grant makers, and grant recipients.

We Got the Grant, Now What?
Karen Kllanxjha, Development Director for Mesa County Libraries, has over 20 years experience in nonprofit and governmental program development, management, and fundraising. Karen will be discussing tips for grant stewardship success.

Breakout Session
Attendees will also have the opportunity to work in teams to find a grant using library resources, write a grant proposal and strategy outline, present their proposal to the speakers, and receive feedback.
