970West Studio Artist in Residence 2019 Call for Artists

Entry deadline: Monday, October 8, by 8 p.m.

Notifications: Notifications to all applicants will be made via email by October 26, 2018.

Artist's Responsibility:

While in the 970West Studio, all Artists in Residence are expected to comply with the Library's policies and procedures which are designed to maximize the experience of Mesa County Libraries patrons and staff. Each resident will be expected to work with library staff to provide at least three library programs offered to the community during their residency. In addition to programming, the artist will allow the library to create and add digital content from original artwork and interviews with the artist to the library's online catalog. The artist also agrees to offer a short presentation to the Mesa County Libraries Foundation Board about their residency. The library respects all copyright laws and recognizes that intellectual property rights reside with the artist.
