About the Presenter:
Kara earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Fitness and Wellness at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI. Her certifications and training include Personal Training, NASM; Mat Pilates (Beginner-Intermediate), NETA; SilverSneakers; Stepping On Fall Prevention; STAR Cancer Rehab, Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson's, Embody Love Movement Facilitator. Work experience includes worksite wellness, pediatric exercise, traumatic brain injury rehab aid, physical rehabilitation aid, personal training, group exercise instruction including pool, fitness testing, cardiac and pulmonary supervised exercise classes, weight management program facilitation, senior fitness & fall prevention.
Kara's philosophy is to help individuals gain control of their personal health. Her mission is to educate, guide, and motivate to achieve each person's optimal quality and quantity of life. She believes in a holistic approach to addressing individual goals.
