Neighbors Read - Fingerprint Cartoon Characters - 970West Studio Artist in Residence In-Person

Join Mesa County Libraries Artist in Residence Emmi Hall as we create cartoon characters out of our fingerprints. Learn how to finger paint with watercolors and give feelings to your creations at Neighbors Read! Emmi says, " The purpose of this program is to help kids create characters based on their own emotions."

Emmi Hall recently graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Her passions include education and art with the belief that artistic expression is a necessity of living. In order to survive there must be growth. In order to grow there must be education. In order to education ourselves we must also be able to teach others. Emmi is a strong believer in the expansion of mastery and skill through artistic expression. Her passion for art flows from her yearning to share knowledge: learn all you can to share all you can. Currently she works as a freelance graphic designer with work ranging from illustrating children's books to advertising project management.
