Writers Night Workshop Series: Creating Scenes for Fiction and Screen w/ Arn McConnell

Arn McConnell will speak on the Scene. What is and isn’t a scene? How do you make scenes memorable? How do you structure a scene? How do you make scenes pay off? And how do you write a scene for the screen?

Author, professor, designer and award-winning animator, producer and director of films and commercials, Arn McConnell comes with the background and experience to back up his advice. He is the winner of the 2001 Colorado Broadcasters Award for the Best Animation in a Commercial and Two-time winner of Colorado Press Association Awards. McConnell lives and works in Grand Junction and has been active in the writing and teaching community for many years.
