Mush! Iditarod Presentation - Central Library In-Person

Have you ever wondered what it's like to participate in the Alaskan Iditarod Sled Race? Three-time-Iditarod participant Karen Land will describe her experiences in the 1,049-mile race. We'll also meet her Alaskan husky, Noggin, and check out her sled and other race gear.

Also, 2025 is the 100th Anniversary of the 1925 Serum Run—remember Balto and Togo? Celebrate those brave dogs and mushers with Karen and Noggin! All ages are welcome.

Seating will be first come, first served. No registration required.

Karen Land is a writer, public speaker, and former participant of the Iditarod. Since 2000, she and Noggin have given over a thousand talks in almost every state. She loves providing MUSHING talks for always-eager students and enthusiastic library patrons.
