Mesa County Oral History Meeting: Restoring the Historic Crissey House - Adventures in Amateur Archaeology In-Person

Discover the Remarkable Story of the Crissey House: JoAnn & Kirk Rasmussen are the current owners and caretakers of the Historic Crissey House in Palisade. Join JoAnn, Chair of the Palisade Historical Society, as she shares tales of their adventures, what it's like living in and rehabilitating a property on the National Register of Historic Places, what it means to be an amateur archaeologist in your own home, and why they'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

Mesa County Oral History Meetings happen from 12pm to 1pm on the third Thursday of the month in the Central Library Community room in partnership with the Mesa County Historical Society.
