Henna Design Creation

Henna Design Creation In-Person

Teens 12-18 are invited to attend a free hands-on virtual workshop presented by professional henna artist Leah Reddell of Denver Henna. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning more about creating beautiful designs with henna! The class will include basic building blocks for creating symmetrical and asymmetrical designs, playing with mandalas, flowers, and cuffs, while also exploring Indian, Gulf, and Moroccan style designs.

Henna is an ancient form of temporary body art where artists create complex, detailed patterns on skin with a paste made from the henna plant. Henna designs on skin can last 1-2 weeks and fade over time.
