Join the Mesa County Opioid Response Group for a fentanyl awareness and naloxone training event. Learn more about the illicit drug fentanyl and naloxone, a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. This program will describe local treatment, recovery, and harm reduction resources that are available to you or a loved one.

Lyndall Young is a nurse, instructor, and outreach coordinator for Western Colorado Area Health Education Center and one of the facilitators of the Mesa Count Opioid Response Group. She has taught over 200 Narcan trainings across the Western Slope and is a distributor of Narcan and Kloxxado. She is a presenter for Rise Above Colorado and has taught in high and middle schools across Colorado. She is a Western Slope native and loves spending time outside with her family.

Brandon Gray is a Community Health Planner for Mesa County Public Health and co-facilitator of the Mesa County Opioid Response Group.
