Crop Swap

Crop Swap In-Person

Did you grow seven tomato plants too many this year? Are you drowning in a bounty of delicious peppers you don't know what to do with? If so, visit the Mesa County Libraries Discovery Garden to enjoy some lemonade, meet fellow gardeners and share your surplus produce at a Crop Swap! Any fruits and vegetables are accepted; all you have to do is bring produce to donate or take any of the veggies and fruits that have been left for the community to enjoy.

If you have no crops to share this year, that’s alright, too! Please visit our Discovery Garden to see what’s growing and pick some veggies, herbs, or flowers to take with you. What’s growing in the garden is yours to enjoy.

Any produce that is unclaimed will be donated by library staff to a local food assistance organization. The crop swaps are not trade or barter events - All produce is given and taken freely.
