The Historic Buildings of Mesa County In-Person

Mesa County, Colorado is home to 35 sites that have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. This high honor is given by the National Park Service and recognizes a site's importance and encourages their preservation. In addition, Colorado and local communities also have registers and lists of important places. In this program, we will talk about listed places that have helped build a better community in Mesa County.

About the Speaker

Zebulon Miracle is the Curator of Curiosity for Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa, where he enables visitors to see, hear, and experience first hand, the natural and man-made wonders of Western Colorado. Zebulon is a native of Western Colorado and holds degrees in History and Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Grand Junction residents may know Zebulon from his previous work at the Cross Orchards Historic Site at the Museum of Western Colorado.
