STEM Lab: roboZone In-Person

Join Amanda from AmeriCorps and Sam from the library for a special STEM themed series. Every Monday for six weeks, we will explore robots, robotics, and other concepts in theory and practice.

Recommended for ages 8+. Registration is required for each event.

July 3: How does a robot move? (Individual project)

  • How robots move, examples of how robots perform human-like (or animal-like) tasks. Engineers take inspiration from nature.
  • Design a robotic hand using string, straws, and paper.
