From Sketch to Digital Art: A How To - 970West Studio Artist in Residence In-Person

The process from getting a sketch to a final digital interpretation can be a frustrating process. Come learn the steps of getting your idea from the paper to screen in this hands-on class. Participants will need to bring a small piece of original artwork to be digitized using Adobe Illustrator.

Emmi Hall recently graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Her passions include education and art with the belief that artistic expression is a necessity of living. In order to survive there must be growth. In order to grow there must be education. In order to education ourselves we must also be able to teach others. Emmi is a strong believer in the expansion of mastery and skill through artistic expression. Her passion for art flows from her yearning to share knowledge: learn all you can to share all you can. Currently she works as a freelance graphic designer with work ranging from illustrating children's books to advertising project management.
