Super Rad Teen Art Workshop In-Person

Drop in for this hands on art workshop! Participants will have the opportunity to display their finished projects on the library's art wall after the workshop.

Continuous Contour Line Drawing & Color Theory Workshop

Continuous contour line drawing is a technique used to improve drawing skills by increasing observation and learning to see the movement of lines. This free flow style of drawing removes the expectation of drawing to imitate life, but letting the image develop organically into an abstract-like image. Following the drawing exercise, we will explore color theory by learning about a variety of color schemes that we will apply to our drawings to complete the project. Color will be applied with color pencils and pencil techniques will be covered. All these elements will put together to create an outstanding art piece ready to frame and hang on your wall!
